As an IML robot designed by the leading IML solution provide SWITEK Automation since 2009, the SW8 series IML robot is one of the best choice for IML project from small and medium sized thin-wall containers such as Yogurt cups and deep cavities containers such as buckets up to 55L. Here in this chapter we'll have a brief introduction of the Do/Don't in the operating of SWITEK SW8 series of high performance side entry IML robot.

Here in this book you'll have a detailed operating instruction and trouble shooting of SWITEK new generation of IML robot in daily operating and maintenance and will help you to have a fast diagnose of the machine failure.
Please read the manual book very carefully, and make full sense of the contents.
Neither execute nor use the procedures or steps that is not included in the book.
The machine failure and human injury or death caused by not fully understanding the book will not be taken charge of by our company. Please kindly understanding.
In case that anyone can approach the manual, please put the book near the machine and manage the book carefully by specified person.

Safety notice in this manual is divided in three parts. Please note that danger part and operate carefully specially.

0.2. Safety Notice

* Condition for use

As this device is not provided in an explosion-proof, waterproof or dustproof type, please avoid use in the following circumstances.
Failure to comply with this warning may cause faults or damages.

Circumstances with combustible gas, pyrophoric liquid, etc.;
Circumstances with flying or dispering conductive metal chips due to metal processing or cutting.
Circumstances with acid, alkali or other corrosive gas.
Circumstances with spray os cutting fluid, grinding fluid, etc.;
Circumstances near electrical noise sources like large-sized converters, devices with large output of higher harmonics, large conductors, welding machine, etc.;
Circumstances where the operating temperature is beyond the range of 0 ~ 40°C;
Circumstance with humidity more than 90%RH;
Circumstance with occurence of condensation.

* Conditions for maintenance

	While in the maintenance work, please put the notice board signed with "Maintaining! Do not touch the electric control box, etc." in case anyone touch it or turn on the power by mistake. While in the maintenance work, please cut off the power in the electric control box and the main power in the factory also. After the power cut-off, do not open the outer cover immediately because residual voltage remains in the machine.
	Do not remove or change the position of the limit switch, detector without our company's permission. And some serious accidents would happen if the warning is ignored.
	Please wear the safety helmet while maintaiining. Please use the tool complying with the machine. Especially wile using the wrench, caution the size of the tools in case of accidents caused by bolt Looseness. Maintenance work must be done by professional and trained person. Please use the product designated by our company if you want to replace the indicator, the contactor or the other electric components. Please do as the proper step while removing the outer cover in the maintenance work. Please contact us when you have problems, even small doubts. Please check the regular items in the manual. Certain person in charge must be on the scene while confirming the operation result. Detailed maintenance results must be recorded on the maintenance list and reported to the person in charge. Caution that water or oil should not drop in the electric box and air valve box.

* After maintenance work

	While cleaning the machine and surrounding, please cut off the power and stop the machine before you start the cleaning. Please install the recovery plug if the machine is not used for a long time.
	Air blower is forbiden to clean the machine in case that tiny dust goes into the precise parts which would cause the deterioration of the machine. The motors and electric switchs remain high temperature. Please operate carefully all the same.

* Category of warning signs

Notice: The machine may not include all the warning signs on it.

Do not enter into the active zone.

* Warning Sign of Up and Down Action * Waring Sign of Advance and Retreat Action * Waring Sign of Transverse Action	The machine moves very fast in the active zone. Don't enter into the zone when the machine is in the auto running. Besides the auto running, for the maintenance or the other purpose, the operators must strictly do as the proper steps-operate after the power and the air switch is cut off. Please refer to the manual <2. Screen and operating instructions > in detail.
* Warning Sign of High Voltage Shock	In the maintenance work, please make sure that the power supply is OFF. Especially when the control box is maintaining, we need to take down the relative wiring and turn off the main power of the factory. Be careful of all the places including the warning sign, such as terminal block.
* Warning Sign of Cooling Fan	Please don't touch the running fan.
* Warning Sign of High Temperature of the Motor	The motor is in the state of high temperature. Please don't go too near of the running motor. If the maintenance work needs to be done, please turn off the power and let the motor cool down first.
* Notice Max Value Adjustment	When max value is adjusting, please operate safely according to the manual. After the power and the air switch is OFF, take care of the residual voltage because there's probably still air pressrure within the cylinder. Meanwhile, try not working within the working range.
* Warning Sign of Rolling In	When working in the working range for the purpose of maintenance or the other reasons, please don't touch the motor, rotating axis and the belt in case of rolling into the machine. Please cut off the power and air switch when operating.
* Warning Sign of Cutters	When working in the working range for the purpose of maintenance or the other reasons, please don't touch the cutters' edge. Please cut off the power and air switch when operating.
* Warning Sign of Spray	Don't enter into the range of liquid spray such as mold release agent. Please cut off the power of the control box and the spray device.

* Prohibited matters

Behaviors warned by the warning signs;
Behaviors prohibited by this Operating Instruction Manual;
Taking off the warning signs;
Operations in a status with difficulty in making a normal judgment as a result of dring, taking drugs, disease and etc.;
Operations in a circumstance with intermittent power supply due to lightning or other causes;
Transformation of the machine without the permission of the Company.
