About the Application:

The video is a demonstation of the box packing automation solution of the spoons which on show Chinaplas 2018. The system is for the auto-production of the tea spoons from injection to box packing automatically. The box packed tea spoons is one of the best buy products in the department store.

The round layout design of the mold will have a better balance of the mold flow, and to simplify the design of the automation system, the mold adopted a submarrine type gate design which will have the sprue separated from the spoons automatically in mold. A 6 axis industrial robot is used to have the well stacked spoons transfered to the packing machine.

This automation system is also suitable for the production of box packed knife or forks of different size. The quantity per box can be configured in the program. By choose different packing machine, this system can be modified to have the spoons bag packed.

To reduce the cost of the spoons mold in an auto-packing system, mostly we'll choose a cold runner mold with submarrine type injection gate, but if the producer has sufficient budget, we can also have an all hot runner mold to achieve a better quality spoon and save the material.
