Automation Application

About the IMD Solution

The automation application of the 6 axis servo industrial robot in an automation system of in mold insertion. The 6 axis servo robot in the project is NACHI 207 wich will work as the parts picking and inserts placeing robot of two vertical injection molding machine.

In the project an irregular metal plates to be inserted into the mold. As an irregular plates and to protect the surface of it from scrach, it's not suitable to be sorted by a vibrator, so a multi-layers drawers types feeding table was designed for the safe placing of the inserts manually and continuous feeding of the plates. The 6 axis servo robot will pick the parts from the table and inserts it into the mold.

The video is just a demonstration of how is a 6 axis servo industrial robot integrated in an injection automation system, which the SWITEK R&D team will choose an industrial robot according to the functional requirement and the budget of the customer and have it integrated into the automation system.
