Abstract

The operate panel is the interface from where the operator to communicate with the robotic arm. It'll enable the operator to start, stop, programm, adjust the speed of each axis of the robotic arm. Here in this chapeter we'll have a brief introduction of the operate panel of the robotic arm controller (HMI).

4.1 Appearance

  • State Switch:
    1. Stop: In this mode the robot would be in the stop position, the operator can teach a new program, set the robot running parameters, export program etc.
    2. Manual: In this mode the operator can test the programm manually.
    3. Auto: In this mode the robot will working automatically.
  • Status Lights:
    1. OPEN.E: Mold Opened
    2. S.DOOR: Safe door
    3. A.CLOSE: Enable mold closing
    4. A.EJE: Ejector enabled
    5. REC: New Cycle
  • Emergency stop

    Stop the robot and other machines immediately in emergency.

  • Fine tuning knob:

    Have a minor movement of the strokes for precise distance adjustment.

  • Action buttons

    Move the axis manually

  • Function keys
    • F1 -- Function
    • F2 -- Monitor
    • F3 -- Record
    • F4 -- Alarm
    • F5 -- Return
  • Speed down: -- Reduce the speed of the axis
  • Speed up: -- Increase the speed of the axis
  • Retur (HP): -- Back to HOME position
  • Origin (ORI): -- Back to original point
  • Stop: -- Stop the robot
  • Star: -- Start the robot
